Be the one to break the news.
Progress Michigan is committed to holding elected officials accountable – but we can’t do it alone. There are simply too many lies to factcheck, too many flip-flops to uncover, and too much extremism to expose. Are you looking for a politically-focused internship that will work with your busy schedule and allow you to gain valuable experience?
Progress Michigan is currently hiring tracker-researchers around Michigan to join our grassroots team to hold Lansing politicians accountable for their public statements and actions. Duties include filming public events, editing footage and performing limited research. Camera/editing experience preferred. Current drivers license and vehicle required; driving to a centrally-located training and to events in your area will be required. This is an ideal opportunity for college students looking for part-time summer work to get started in politics. Competitive reimbursement rates and stipend will be provided.
Please send your resume and a short cover letter explaining your interest in the position to joshua@progressmichigan.org.
