“We’re seeing unemployment rise for the first time in a year, and the only place Lansing Republicans can look is in the mirror,” said Zack Pohl, Executive Director of Progress Michigan. “A massive tax cut for big corporations was passed under the veil of job creation, but instead of creating more and better jobs, greedy CEOs are pocketing the profits. To get our economy moving again, we need more teachers in the classroom and more first responders keeping our communities safe so small businesses can put people back to work. We can’t afford Mitt Romney and Rick Snyder’s plan to cut more education and public safety jobs.
