Progress Michigan Executive Director Responds to Anti-Choice Legislation Taking Hold in Michigan
“Today it’s official: Michigan Republicans truly view women as second-class citizens,” said Lonnie Scott, executive director of Progress Michigan. “On the one-year anniversary of Right to Work, the Republicans used the same divisive tactics and passed a controversial law that had no committee hearings and no chance for public input. Republicans should be ashamed of bowing down to special interests who have no regard for the well-being of women and not letting Michigan voters decide.”
