CCJ seeks a creative and energetic advocate to staff its statewide food assistance program helpline and its Genesee County Family Economic Security Project helpline. Specialist duties include: Answer questions, conduct eligibility screenings, research state and federal policy, and advocate for low-income persons having problems with public assistance programs. Prepare educational materials for low-income persons and assist with trainings and presentations. Prepare reports for policy makers and funders. read more
