There is No Room for Hate in Old Town ![]() Old Town Lansing is a shining example of progress, economic activity, new investment, tolerance and diversity. Unfortunately, it has been the target for hateful graffiti threatening local businesses and citizens. Please join us in rejecting hate and intolerance. Join us in our call to condemn all forms of attacks against people because of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. These expressions of hate have no place in our community! Old Town is a neighborhood we should all be proud of because it provides great opportunities for people from all backgrounds to enjoy a good quality of life. Take a moment and sign the Old Town Diversity and Tolerance Petition below. Let's show Michigan that we are a thriving community and that there is no room for hate in Old Town. Petitions will be presented to the Mayor and Lansing City Council to show we stand for diversity and tolerance. Our community welcomes everyone. -PETITION- Mayor Virg Bernero and the Lansing City Council: "We, the undersigned, stand with the citizens and businesses of Old Town in condemning expressions of hate against people based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
